A MUST do for visitors and locals too!! Magical quintessential beautiful British Columbia experience. Dan’s care, enthusiasm and expertise were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the special insight into the trails less traveled among the beautiful trees, waterfalls and suspension bridge. Special touches with swim, cedar tea and candied salmon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dan was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and very aware of the trail conditions and group’s abilities to ensure everyone’s safety. Really enjoyed the commentary, the sites, and the local tea offering that was provided. Looking forward to a repeat visit!

Dan is a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to teach. He was made for this. His passion for the outdoors shows immediately and his enthusiasm is vibrant. I had a ton of questions across a number of topics. He was able to answer everything we could ask. The hike itself was one of incredible beauty, the Pacific Northwest is a true treasure. I cannot help but recommend this experience for anyone. We had a day filled with laughs, learning, and new experiences. Dan is a friend you just haven’t met yet.

Dan is knowledgeable, warm, lighthearted and always having fun. He found opportunities to tailor the hike to the group’s abilities and interests, and ties the snack into the natural world of the hike. The hike is less traveled and a good representation of the area with waterfalls, a canyon, suspension bridge... it is an amazing time. Highly recommend!

This was such a great start to our day! Dan was a wealth of information and his enthusiasm for sharing his love of the outdoors is awesome! Not only was the scenery absolutely beautiful but we learned a lot, too! The cedar tea and maple salmon snacks are a perfect treat to wind down the adventure! We loved it!

This was BY FAR my favorite thing my boyfriend and I did in Vancouver, and I highly suggest it over something more touristy like the Capilano bridges (which we had done the day before). Dan was prompt, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He is committed to making each experience individualized and unique, and there are little touches (like the candied salmon and cedar tea) that set it apart from your average hike. It felt like we were hiking with a friend who is passionate about the outdoors rather than a guide. I would suggest it for bachelor/bachelorette parties, company bonding/outings, or just out with family. Highly recommend and hope to do another one with him!

I really enjoyed this adventure with Dan in Lynn Canyon Park. He was very knowledgeable of the area and even though we walked through the forest when the sun went down, I felt very comfortable the whole time. The snack and tea that he packed for us was 100% amazing! Definitely a big highlight of my trip :)

Hiking with Dan was the best experience EVER! Everything worked out really smooth. His hiking tour was wonderful - a less touristy experience in a more locally known area. It was a small group and really quite lovely. Dan’s friendly personality made the whole hike enjoyable.

So glad we booked this experience. Of course you can visit the park yourself, but Dan’s sharing of knowledge and stories makes this really worthwhile. His enthusiasm for the outdoors is contagious and we had a great time.
