Mountain Views and Cheese Fondue

Location: West Vancouver

Duration: 3-3.5 hours

Includes: Snacks and Drinks

Cost: CAD $75

What we’ll do

Our Adventure will take us on a 5-8km hike in the mountains showcasing spectacular views of the Howe Sound, Alpine Lakes and old growth forests before stopping at an impressive lookout for some cheese fondue and cedar tea. We will begin our adventure 1000 meters above the city of Vancouver at our meeting location on Cypress Mountain. After a quick look at the map and a review of bear aware practices, we will head out on a beautiful winding trail through the forest and past stunning Apline steams and Lakes. From here we will hike through old growth trees to an incredible lookout of the ocean and islands of the Howe Sound. As we admire the views, cheese fondue, fresh bread and some iced of hot Cedar tea, pending weather. The trails on this hike are made trails, so although their are some steeper sections at time the trail is smooth underfoot making it accessible for those new to hiking.
